We're gonna win Twins!

Tonight we went to watch the Twinkies in the new stadium! It was our first game this year AND in the new stadium. One word: Amazing!

The entire experience was so cool! The field is just beautiful and bright and of course, the best part, it is outside! And a beautiful, sunny, 70 degree evening only made it better!

We made sure to take in some good Ukrainian fair right away!

Delicious brats and sausages! My ancestors would be proud!

I got this great shot of Alyssa's future husband with in the first few innings!

And a great shot of my husband!

While watching the game OUTDOORS, I was easily distracted by the beautiful skyline of my city!

My parents and bro were at the game too but since they were in a different section, they failed to make it into any of these great shots! I got to take a picture of A-Rod, someone who has probs seen both Madonna and Kate Hudson naked! A highlight of my night for sure!
There were two Twinkies home runs and for each one they shot off some fireworks!
And I ended the night, under the moth filled sky, loving up on the hottest guy in the stadium, watching the Twins kick the Yankees ass!

Love like crazy

I love listening to this song. So remenesent of the love I have for my high school sweetheart.

Love Like Crazy-Lee brice

They called them crazy when they started out
Said seventeen's too young to know what loves about
They've been together fifty-eight years now
That’s crazy

He brought home sixty-seven bucks a week
He bought a little 2 bedroom house on Maple Street
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed
Yea that’s crazy

Just ask him how he did it; he'll say pull up a seat
It'll only take a minute, to tell you everything
Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I Love You
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common since
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when he quit his job
Said them home computers, boy they'll never take off
He sold his one man shop to Microsoft
They paid like crazy

Just ask him how he made it
He'll tell you faith and sweat
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget

Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I Love You
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common since
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

Always treat your woman like a lady
Never get to old to call her baby
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when they started out
They've been together fifty-eight years now

Aint that crazy?

My dear friend Tonya is down here this week as she is attending a conference. Dear wonder bread when did we get to the age where we are visiting while our friends are in town for business related conferences. I feel old! And old is not being said here in a bad way, I just still do not consider myself a full blown adult. But will I ever? With there always being someone older than me around, maybe I will continue to not think of myself as a grown up…someone with experience in this department chime in….maybe I should ask my grandma.

But back to the real story here! My friend is here; all the way from 4 hours north of here land. Last night we got together for some late night snacks and treats at CafĂ© Latte. Tonight we will hang out at my grandma’s with LeeAnn and tomorrow night she will get to join me on my usual Thursday night Bar Bingo adventure with Laura! What a treat to get to spend weeknights with this friend from far away! I wonder what I will do with my weeknights next week! Lol…

Rocks, rocks, and more rocks!

Chaz and I use rocks in a lot of our decorating. I never used to be a rock gal, but I think my western boy has changed me. Out in Nevada, instead of flowers of gardens, they have gardens of rocks!

We have big rocks and little rocks!

Rocks in vases and rocks just chillin...

Rocks relaxin on the beach!

Even random rocks that Chaz has collected on our adventures!

When I was at Ikea with Laura last week, we found a few more ways I could add rocks to my decor!

Start with a box frame.

Fill with beautiful little rocks!

Close up and bam! Art!
And how about some rocks and greenery!
Take two bamboo plants, rocks and a vase.

Put the plants in the vase and fill with rocks. To keep these little babies alive, just make sure the vase is always filled with water! Easy!

So a big thanks to Ikea for showing me even more ways to add rocks to my apartment!
